Garlic shrimps

For garlic shrimps, you will need:

garlic shrimps

32 large shrimps, shells removed and de-veined*
3.5oz or 100g butter
4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp hot chili powder (optional)

(serves 4 as an appetizer)

Blot dry the shrimps. Place them in a large bowl and add the salt and olive oil. Mix well.

In a flat-bottomed frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and prawns and fry for about 7-10 minutes, turning from time to time, until cooked through, but do not allow the garlic to burn. Sprinkle the chili powder over the top. Serve immediately with the garlic butter poured over the top.
