Mixed grill recipe

mixed grill

For this mixed grill recipe, you will need:

1 small beef fillet steak

2 lamb loin chops

1 small gammon/ham steak

1 toulouse or other pork sausage

soya sauce

maggi sauce

onion granules

garlic granules

mushroom ketchup or worcestershire sauce

sugar

oil

1 tsp chopped fresh garlic

1/2 tsp curry powder

1/2 tsp rosemary

salt

pepper

(serves 1)

Mix together 1 tsp of soya sauce, 1 tsp maggi sauce1 tsp mushroom ketchup / worcestershire sauce, chopped garlic, 1/2 tsp onion granules, 1/2 tsp garlic granules and 1 tsp sugar. Remove half of this mixture and set aside. Rub the beef fillet steak in the remaining half. Mix the other half of the mixture with the curry powder and rosemary and rub the lamb chops in this. Cover and put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Half an hour before cooking, remove all meats from the refrigerator to allow to warm to room temperature. Coat all meats lightly with oil.

Heat a skillet or grill pan until hot. To this, add the sausage and lamb chops and cook until brown on both sides, which will take about 5 minutes. Move the sausage and lamb chops to the side of the pan and turn from time to time, while adding the gammon and the beef fillet. Cook these for about 3 minutes on each side, after which the gammon should be cooked through and the steak will be about medium. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with potato fries and salad.
